Volunteer opportunity: Shuttle bus greeter
Let’s go! Our visitors will be on the go throughout Neutrino Day. Whether hopping on the shuttle bus between the Visitor Center and the Handley Center or catching the trolley tour to the hoistroom, making sure our visitors are going the right direction will make their day smooth and fun.
Volunteers will be needed from 9:00 until 4:00, so if your plans include the keynote event with our special guest, Brian Malow, you might consider a split shift in the morning only, or joining the presentation in progress.
Having a general knowledge of Lead is helpful, but not required. Since this is an outdoor activity, be sure to wear a hat and bring sunscreen to keep yourself from getting too much sunshine. There may be times to sit or go indoors, but expect these to be busy locations.
If you are interested in being a Shuttle Bus Greeter volunteer, sign up today and let us know this is what you would like to do on Neutrino Day. If you have already signed up, send us an email to add this volunteer opportunity to your request.
