Neutrino Day is SURF's annual one-day free science festival that transforms Lead, South Dakota, into a hub of scientific discovery and family-friendly fun. Over 2,000 science curious people attended last summer and we expect even more in 2024! This event is a perfect blend of learning and enjoyment, featuring activities, talks, demonstrations, and immersive experiences for science-curious guests of all ages.

2024 Sponsorship Levels
Our sponsorship levels offer increasing benefits, with each level including the benefits of the lower levels plus additional perks as the amount increases. These gifts can be either in cash, in-kind or a combination.
1. Discovery Leader - $25,000
- Lead sponsorship recognition for Neutrino Day.
- Premier logo placement across all event materials including event t-shirts, press releases, and signage.
- Opportunity to speak at the event opening and featured branding on main stages.
2. Exploration Champion - $10,000
- VIP tour of SURF facilities and exclusive interactions with scientists (scheduled separately).
- Speaking opportunity at VIP mixer on the evening of Friday, July 12, 2024.
- Special group photo at Davis Ring.
3. Innovation Advocate - $5,000
- Special recognition and live interview during the event on social media.
- Individual logo branding on rotating videos in Visitor Center.
- VIP docent tour at the Visitor Center (scheduled separately)
4. Science Supporter - $2,500
- Logo on event t-shirt.
- Individual social media mentions, related Neutrino Day event emails.
- Invitations to the VIP Mixer on Friday, July 12, 2024.
5. Curiosity Contributor - $1,000
- Recognition in the Neutrino Day schedule of events, distributed to over 2,000 guests.
- Included in event group social media posts and Visitor Center screen.
