Volunteer opportunity: Check-In assistance
Welcome to Neutrino Day! Our Check-in Assistance volunteers are often the first face our visitors see when they arrive. This year we will have concierges to answer detailed questions about planning a day full of fun, but these volunteers are providing families with wristbands and answering general questions about the day’s events.
Depending on the event location, Check-In Assistance volunteers may be indoors or outdoors, but should plan to have exposure to the sun during the day. Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are a good plan. When possible, these volunteers may be seated at a table, but you may have a need to get up and down throughout your day as you lend a hand.
Volunteers will be needed for the entire day, but can be split into morning or afternoon shifts. Having a general knowledge of Lead is helpful, but not required. A willingness to have fun and be open and inviting is a must.
If you are interested in being a Check-In Assistance volunteer, sign up today and let us know this is what you would like to do on Neutrino Day. If you have already signed up, send us an email to add this volunteer opportunity to your request.
