What to expect on Neutrino Day
Depending on where you may be asked to lend a hand on Neutrino Day may make a difference in how you plan for your day. Watch for updates for each event location, but here is a few basics plans to keep in mind.
- All hands-on activities, demonstrations, and informational booths should have volunteers available from set-up through take-down on Neutrino Day. Visitors will be expecting all activities to be available to enjoy between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Team Leads for each station should have team members available during this time.
- Neutrino Day is almost always warm and sunny! We encourage volunteers to bring sunscreen and a hat. Water will be available for all volunteers, but consider bringing a full water bottle of your own.
- Make a plan for lunch. We encourage attendees and volunteers alike to patron restaurants in Lead. If you're covering an activity, demonstration, or informational booth over the lunch hour, you may want to pack a lunch.
No matter where you are helping out on Neutrino Day, plan to have fun!
